Durch die enthaltenen Flavonglykoside und Ginkgolid-Terpenlactone, die zu den Terpenen gehören sowie sekundäre Pflanzenstoffe, liefert uns dieser urzeitliche Baum wertvolle Wirkstoffe.
Höchste Qualität hat absolute Priorität, daher liegt der Gehalt an Gingolsäure mit nur 1 ppm deutlich unter dem erlaubten Grenzwert von 5 ppm.
