Während Curcuma seinen primären Wirkstoff Curcumin beisteuert, der häufig in der Traditionellen chinesischen und der ayurvedischen Medizin angewendet wird, steuert Ingwer vor allem ätherische Öle und den Wirkstoff Gingerol bei.
