Description
Organic Ashwagandha (Withania Sominifera) contains a variety of plant substances, especially in the roots, such as the alkaloids anaferin, anahygrin, cuscohygrin, nicotin, tropin, withasomnin and the withanolides somniferanolide, somniwithanolide, withaferin A and withasomniferanolide.
Aswhwagandha, also known as the sleeping berry, is used very successfully in Ayurvedic medicine and is also being researched in Western countries for its possible calming and stress-reducing effects.
