Docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid (DHA/EPA)

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has authorised the following health claims for this ingredient:

With a daily intake of 3 g, DHA and EPA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.
A total daily intake of 5 g EPA and DHA combined must not be exceeded.

DHA and EPA contribute to the maintenance of normal triglyceride levels in the blood with a daily intake of 2 g.
A total daily intake of 5 g EPA and DHA combined must not be exceeded.
