Laktoseintoleranz ist eine Unverträglichkeitsreaktion, die durch den Verzehr von Lactose (Milchzucker) ausgelöst wird, die überwiegend in Milch und Milchprodukten vorkommt.
Durch das Enzym Lactase wird die Lactose im Darm aufgespalten und Störungen im Verdauungstrakt werden vermieden.
