Why we no longer sell krill oil

Krill forms the basis of the Antarctic ecosystem – whales, seals and penguins depend directly on it.

These fishing grounds are considered sensitive, and the debate over overfishing and the lack of protective measures has been growing for years.

Out of respect for these ecosystems, we have decided not to include krill oil in our range.

Instead, we are focusing on two alternatives that simply make more sense, both technically and environmentally:

  • Algae oil: the cleanest and most sustainable source of omega-3 available, with a very high DHA content – perfect for the brain, eyes and anyone who wants to stick to a plant-based diet.
  • Fish oil in its natural triglyceride form: highly concentrated (e.g. 40% EPA / 30% DHA), highly bioavailable and backed by a wealth of scientific evidence.

This way, you get high-quality omega-3 products – without putting unnecessary pressure on vulnerable marine regions.
